Insite has obtained planning consent at appeal at two landmark locations in London where, in both cases, others had previously failed.
One allows a prominent 18m x 5m fixed display at its unique freehold-owned property on a 12-lane section of the M25 immediately adjacent to Heathrow's Terminal 5. With at least 6 million vehicles passing it every month, Insite was able to overcome previous public safety concerns and demonstrate to the appeal inspector that this location "would not harm highway safety on the M25".
The other location was on the elevated M4/A4 approaching London where Insite was advising its client after two recent attempts by others had failed to gain consent at appeal on the grounds of both road safety and visual amenity. The proposed 19 metre high architectural structure, incorporating double-sided digital displays, was deemed "not to have an adverse effect of highway safety" and "would not be harmful to the visual amenity".
