Insite has completed a negotiated renewal of its whole portfolio with Titan Outdoor. It has today signed new 20 year licences on its 245 freehold sites in a transaction that also included the upgrade of 7 sites with premium display formats including mechanised and internally illuminated panels.
Insite has obtained planning consent at appeal for a new 15m high advertising tower at Junction 1 of the M3 motorway. The site will be viewed from the elevated section of the M3 at Sunbury Cross by over 1,900,000 vehicles a month. Insite has acquired the site freehold and is now building the structure for Outdoor Plus to start operating from May 2007 on a 15 year licence. Whilst others failed to gain consent at this location in the past, Insite gained planning consent on 19th October 2006. The appeal inspector praised Insite's landmark design - "I consider that it has been well designed to reflect the style of the [adjacent] hotel ... the design would appear integral to the hotel complex and would add interest to the townscape".
